°1 cup butter
°½ cup packed brown sugar
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°3 cups quick cooking oats
°1 c chocolate chips
°1/2 c peanut butter

Grease 9" * 9" square skillet. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and vanilla, stirring. Mix the oats. Simmer on low heat 2 to 3 min Put half of the mixture in the bottom of the prepared pan. Saving other half to top it off.
Melt chocolate chips also peanut butter in heavy saucepan on low heat, stir constantly, to smooth. Pour chocolate mix on crust in the skillet, spreading equally with a knife or back of a spoon.
Layer rest oat mix on chocolate layer, press lightly. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or overnight. Bring it to room temperature before cutting it into bars
