Coconut Cream Pie

 



*Ingredients :


°1 c milk

°1 cup shredded sweetened coconut

°1 c light cream

°1/2 cup sugar

°2 tablespoons cornstarch

°2 eggs, separated

°1 teaspoon vanilla

°1 pie crust.

°8 ounces whipped cream


*How to make it:


Baking pie crust according to methods on package & cool totally.

Put the milk and light cream in a double boiler. Add sugar and let it come to a boil.

Add 2 tbsp. Cold water for cornstarch. stir well.

Beat egg yolks in a bowl until light. Adding cornstarch mix to yolks. Mix well.

Adding egg mixture to milk mixture in double boiler.

Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat. Add vanilla and coconut. flip over. Let it stand for 30 minutes.

Pour into ready-made dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool for 30 minutes or until tender.

Remove the plastic wrap. Cover it with whipped cream.
